Boomerang

this is the boomerang Dad made for me when we were in Qld on long service leave
which I always thought was pronounced 'long service sleeve'
it was huge the last time I saw it
but now it fits my hand
quite remarkable finish
I can't remember exactly what he used to make it
but the back is remarkably flat and smooth for something found in the bush and made with camping tools

hidden in the back shed
found during final clean up of G rd

Outdoor chair

I hope no-one minds, I took this chair home. One less thing to store and we have a bit of white, curly outdoor stuff that it matches.

Delad glädje är dubbel glädje

Apparently it is Swedish and means "Happiness shared is happiness doubled".
And "Grief shared is grief halved."
I always thought both people looked like Mum.
I don't know where it came form though. Most likely a wedding present.
